Buying & Selling Gold or Silver

We DO NOT accept third party transactions due to international AML/CFT policies.

We only accept returns from the client that purchased the product. If the package is unopened, full refund will be made within 48hrs. All other refund values are dependent on the return condition of the product and guaranteed minimum refund would be the value of the gold.

All returns will be credited within 5 working days.

Depending on the originating bank, reversal for unsuccessful transactions are typically resolved within 3 – 5 business days.

Depending on the KYC tier:
- 100grams of gold or 1kg of silver OR
- 1kg of gold or 5kg of silver

Higher volumes are only available to Gold Club members who have passed enhanced KYC requirements.

Download the ORON app and create an account.

- Tap the "settings" button (the first one on the right at the button of your screen) and ensure that your bank details are updated and correct. This is the bank account to which we will transfer your funds if/when you want to withdraw.
- Tap the "swap" button- the middle one at the bottom of your app screen
- Ensure that you can see purchase at the top "Purchase". The USD sign will be above and the ORON gold or silver sign will be above below. The red button text also reads "confirm swap".
- Type in the amount you intend to deposit (for example USD 100)
- Specify which you want- ORON Gold (ONG) or ORON Silver (ONS). Tap "confirm swap" to proceed
- Make payment either via your card or a bank transfer.

Congratulations, you have now bought gold or silver.

The minimum purchase on ORON app is $100.00

- Please check that you have the latest version of the ORON app. If not, kindly visit your app store and do so. Then proceed to (2) below. If yes, simply proceed to (2) below. If it is a gold or silver physical product, kindly email us at support@oroncompany.com with your expression of Interest to sell.
- Tap the "settings" button (the first one on the right at the button of your screen) and ensure that your bank details are updated and correct. This is the bank account to which we will transfer your funds when the withdrawal is complete.
- Tap the "swap" button- the middle one at the bottom of your app screen (also the same place you bought SANU gold or silver).
- Tap "Purchase" and select "withdraw". The signs will reverse so that SANU gold or silver will be above and Naira will be below. The red button text also changes from "confirm swap" to "confirm withdrawal"
- Put in the amount of gold or silver you wish to sell, and the naira amount will reflect in the box below. Tap "confirm withdrawal" to proceed.
- In 1-5 working days, the funds will be credited to the bank account you provided in (2) above.
Please note
- Relevant charges may apply depending on the type of gold or silver you are selling.
- It is important to state that SANU is not a financial exchange or a trading app, and thus, changing your gold or silver to and from Naira often is discouraged.

Yes, you can. If you send us an expression of interest to sell, ORON will buy back your gold or silver.
Please note:
- ORON does not buy gold or silver from outsiders. We will only buy back from existing ORON users .
- ORON does not buy gold or silver that have been purchased from elsewhere, even if the person is an existing user. We will only buy gold or silver that have purchased on the ORON app to comply with strict provenance requirements.
- All purchases will undergo an assay process by our experts before the transaction is deemed completed.

Selling price of ORON-OLD or ORON-OLV is dependent on the present prevailing international market price and not the price at the time of initial purchase.

The remnant ORON-GLD (ONG) or ORON-SLV (ONS) remains in your wallet as fractions of precious metals that cant complete a standard product. The balance remains in your wallet at your next purchase unless you choose to swap it to your local currency.

While ORON-GLD and ORON-SLV are presently not swappable, you may conveniently sell either and then acquire the other.

The ORON app currently accepts any currency provided you can use your credit card or do a bank transfer.

While installments are unavailbale on ORON, ORON allows you to buy fractions of gold and silver over the period of time it takes to reach a product size that can be redeemed for a physical product.

Payment settlements to your ORON wallet occurs within minutes. Fiat account transfer from and to ORON wallets are bank dependent and may take up to 48hrs.

To buy LBMA and other types of gold or silver on the app,
- Tap the "gold bar" icon (It is the second button from the left at the bottom of the app)
- Confirm the "total cost", i.e how much ONG or ONS is required
- If you have the required amount of ONG or ONS, tap "Confirm purchase"
If you do not have the required amount of ONG or ONS
- Tap the "swap" button- the middle one at the bottom of your app screen.
- Ensure that you can see purchase at the top "Purchase". The USD sign will be above and the ORON gold or silver sign will be above below. The red button text also reads "confirm swap".
- Type in the amount you intend to deposit (for example USD 100).
